Well lets knock another Wild McKay Man off the eligible Bachelor list, and thank the woman who makes us want to move to Wyoming to make the saying "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy" come true every day. Lorelei James brings the harsh reality of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association) to life in book 11 of her Rough Rider Series, CHASIN' EIGHT.

After being suspended from the PBR, Champion bull rider Chase McKay heads home to Sundance, Wyoming to relearn the basics of Bull Riding. Meanwhile Hollywood actress/heiress Ava Cooper/Dumond is having issues with the Paparazzi and calls upon her friend Ginger Paulson McKay to hideaway in Wyoming. After an interesting first meeting Ava and Chase agree to travel together on the PRCA circuit.While Chase gets back to basics under an assumed name, Ava films Chase's rides. Ava is also bound and determined to find a good ol' boy and get laid. Chase is out of the question as he has given up sex for at least a month. Determined to get Chase to react to her, Ava's personal assistants uncle shows up and helps Ava out. Watch out as the sparks fly and sex scenes that make you want to find your man and have your way with him. 

When tragedy hits, Chase and Ava Quit the PRCA and head for New York City. While in New York, the Paparazzi start to follow. Thinking the Paparazzi is going to be bad news, Chase is stunned when the PBR tells him press from Ava is better than press from Buckle Bunnies. As Chase heads to Witchia to compete, Ava heads to Hollywood to an audition. While watching the televised event on TV, Ava finds out that Chase has left after the first round because of a family emergency. After dealing with his family emergency,  Chase heads to Kane's trailer for alone time only to find he is not alone and never will be again because Ava is waiting for him.

.I love watching Bull Riding, not for the men in tights but to cheer the bulls on.  I couldn't wait for this book to come out. wanted to to see how many technical terms Lorelei would use and if she would mention any current PBR riders or Bulls. She did use some terms and did name some of the bulls but none of the riders.

This book did not disappoint me. The story line and the sexual content were the level Lorelei is known for. The  companionship, family element, and deep love for one's partner in this book  is gripping. It  is  those things  that keeps me coming back for more Lorelei James.  

I recommend that you read the other books and anthologies of the Rough Rider Series before you read this book.  Lorelei referrs to people and events that take place in the previous stories.
